Hey family,

I’m Tamia, proud mom of five and grandma raising two of my grandbabies here in Wichita. Life as a sports mom keeps me busy, but I love every moment of it.

I’ve been with Spirit Aerosystems for 13 years, now serving on the management team in the underwing mechanic section. Along the way, I earned my degree in business computer studies, growing both personally and professionally.

Faith is central to my life. As a longtime member of Rock Christian Fellowship, I attend regularly, sing with the praise and worship team, and proudly serve as an armor bearer to our Senior Pastor—a role I deeply respect.

Outside of work and church, I serve as President of the Wichita chapter of Continental Societies, Inc., supporting programs that uplift children and families in our community.

I’m honored to descend from the John Garnes branch of our family and value the deep connections we share. Having helped with past reunions, I know the joy these gatherings bring. This year, I joined the planning team to support the family, help with event organizing, and bring my foodie passion to the menu decisions. It’s been so rewarding!

Our reunions are about celebrating history, strengthening bonds, and creating priceless memories. I can’t wait to see everyone come together. When you arrive, don’t be shy—be sure to say hi!
